bulkhead size

I'm setting up a 75 gal FOWLER. I bought a glass tank and want to have the back drilled. Need help with the bulkhead size. Thinking of 2- 1 1/2"

Also, thinking of using the exterior Durso. Has anyone had experience with this. Where could I get a plan for a surfuce skimmer box?

Doc, if i remembered correctly the drain should be twice the size of the return.

I would use 3/4" pipe for the return over the top of the tank. I'm concerned with the flow rate because of the overflows being in the back of the tank.

On my 25gal i have a 1" drain in the back with an DIY overflow box inside the tank with two 3/4" returns of loc-line off a SCWD with a MAG9.5 return it works fine.

what's the head height?

I would say after the SCWD, elbows and hose its pumping around 750GPH into the tank.
