I'm interested in changing my refugium around. Currently I have a wet dry system with protein skimmer below my tank. There is a line that dumps water into a 5 gallon rubbermaid refugium as well. I don't like the setup because it takes up so much space and is hard to service. I would like to take a 25 gallon fish tank that I currently have and convert it to a large refugium with a small amount of mechanical filtration and incorporate my protein skimmer. I've seen several plans that I will most likely follow. My question is, where is the best place to get acrylic to make the divides for my new refugium? Is it very expensive?

You can use plexiglass and some aquarium sealant. This is what I did. You can find the plexiglass at any Home Depot etc. All you need is a plexiglass cutting knife.

Thanks for the response. Did you have a thickness preference or does it only come in one size?
