No More Black Ick!

My yellow tang is clear of black ick and I didn't even treat it. I don't know what happened....?

Glad to hear it!

Hopefully it is gone. However keep a close eye on your tang as the black ich undergoes a simular cycle to cryptocaryon and could reacur in a few days.

I have had the same experience, with both black and traditional ich....I never treat. It always goes away by itself, unless there is something stressing the fish (water quality, bully, new addition, etc.).
