Calling all Red Sea Wave Maker OWner

Hi all:

The fuse in my Red Sea wave maker blew the other day. To my surprise I am having hard time finding the fuse in local hardware and HD. Can you please let me know what kind the fuse you have in your wave maker so I know I have the same one??? If would be great if you know where to get it too.


It is a 250V 8amp glass fuse. 3/4" long, 1/4" in diameter.

Sounds like an instrument fuse. Radio shack (horrors!) used to carry them. You'll also find them in the back of older audio/stereo systems. You can also try electrical/electronic supply houses, though the minimum order qty might get you.

The brand is probably Littlefuse or something like that.

Bumping cause I need an answer! Damn Red Sea. I think the guy will come to my club and speak. Maybe I can ask for refund right on the spot. Sigh... outdated skimmer and now outdated fuse.

Try a car stereo shop, the size sounds similar to the one that I run in my inline for my amp. I was actually just given one for free one time and the other time it was 1-2 bucks.
