red stuff on tang??

i goit a yelow tang w/ red blotches and lines on his body it appeared about 4 days ago, i went 2 get a bottle of quick cure blue stuff and have been using it for the recommended dosage and i waws wondering what this parasite or sickness is and how long it takes to go away and what else i can do to cure my fishy?
