Im kinda tight on space so a 2.5lb co2 tank for my CA Reactor would fit alot better than a 5 lb one. The price is about the same.. am i going to regret going with a small 2.5 lb tank?

with a large tank once you have it stocked the small tank will empty fast..

so by large tank do you think the 5 is big enough or should i go even bigger? By the way its your CA Reactor DJ88 :)

A 5 lb. tank lasts me 2-3 months in a 72g mainly SPS tank. Like mentioned it depends on the size tank and Ca demand. For your size tank I would try to squeeze at least a 5 pounder in. If space is a real problem you'll just be running for refills every month or so with the smaller tank.

I run a ten lb.. and nice reactor choice.. ;)

If you don't mind running for refills.. then any size that works for you will work.

I just find that it is a PITA to keep refilling my tank. :)

I was in the same position as you as I couldn't fit a 5lb tank and went with the 2.5 on my 135.

I don't have a high load yet and tank is lasting about 2 months which I don't mind. I can get it refilled at a place about 20 minutes from my office, si its not too much of a pain to refill.
