? about dosing supplements

i am currently using turbo calcium and reef builder to keep my calcium and alkalinity at respectable levels. How long should I wait between adding the both of these supplements. Will both supplements precipitate out and negate the entire addition if I add them too close together?

As long as the first addition is mixed into the water, you can add the second. Think of it as food coloring. As soon as the color was spread throughout the tank, it is fine to add the other. In some tanks that might mean seconds. In some tanks with extended sumps and refugia, it might take an hour or more for it to mix in if you add it to a small compartment like a sump.

Is there an advantage to dosing these supplements soon after each other, or is it just as effective to use them on alternate days?

Alternate days is fine as long as the alk does not fall too much between dosing. There is no synergy in dosing them on the same day.
