WTB 55-90 gal in Northern IL

I`m looking for a relatively inexpensive 55- 90 gal tank or combo type set up. I live in Northern Il, north of Rockford. I'd be willing to drive up 2 hours to pick it up ( maybe more if its a really good deal. I currently have a 29 FO and I am wanting to go bigger.

check on the greater chicago cichlid association web at www.gcca.net I saw a 90 gallon rr and a 55gallon. just a suggestion.

Check out this place, they have Great Lakes Tanks for really cheap. I think the 55gal. is like $50. Lot's of different sizes and a bunch of different style stands also. Great prices. They carry a bunch of different brands. Got our 120L and stand for $400. It would be about a 2hr. drive from you. I'm in Janesville and it's about 1.5hrs.

thanks, actually I was up there last weekend. I did get a price on a basic setup tank, hood, reg florescent light, it came to like 200. I thought that I could probably find a used setup with more equipment for not too much more money. I have came across a few rr for $300-$400. Hey, since your not far from me, where do you go for your livestock?

I go up to madison. Aquarium Superstore or Aquatic Specialties.

There is a fish store in town here, Preferred Pets, they have some nice stuff. Always had good luck with LS from them. It's kind of hit or miss there.

I have been there several times, went up to madison once, I think it was both of those store. There is J&S pet supply in Beloit that I have gone to a few times also. Some of there prices on suppliments are better. The saltwater tanks arnt the prettyist but, I have always had good luck with there fish, just bought a curlyque anemone and a chocolat chip star about 3 weeks ago.
