To clean up a 29g with hair algae. I was stocking my refugium with calerpa when I must have gotten some hair algae with it. Because the hair algae took hostage of my display tank. Right now I have 14 blue legs in there, but it looks like there still losing my battle. I just syphoned out a gallon of algae that more or less was a handfull. I am afraid that this is going to start affecting my clams and sps. Should I go turbo on these b!sn!tches?

My turbos don't eat my hair algae. You could try a lettuce nudibranch or two or a small algae blenny.

Is there another name for an algae blenny? I have never heard of this guy. I like lettuce nudibranchs but I am affraid if he releases he will become overflow food.

NM found it lawnmower blenny. good deal.

I have turbo's chowin down on hair algae as we speak. They seem like the good choice to me. My Lawnmower Blenny picks at it. He may be good for long term mainteance but if your lookin for a cleanup job I say go with the turbos
