I found something in my tank at around 8:30PM last night. I found it in a hole in the sand bed that was covered with debris. It's face was covered with some type of hair algae. Afraid that this thing would kill a million more of the tank inhabitants I had it moved in to a quarantined tank. Luckily it did not put a fight when I captured it. But from what I understand these creatures can be lethal.
After a few hours of being in quarantine, I shaved off all its hair algae. Only to discover that it is nothing more than a puny critter. My tank inhabitants are already showing signs of happiness. Their colors are starting to come back and they are starting to extend fully.
Perhaps, I should return the creature and let the tank inhabitants devour it.
