Built a Michelson Sinusoidal Varing Valve http://avdil.gtri.gatech.edu/RCM/RCM/Aquarium/CirculationSystem.html , Using Reef Maiden’s design http://members.cox.net/reefmaiden/valve_diy2.html the problem I have is in the seal, using regular O-Rings, lubed with food grade silicone grease, after a week the O-Rings bind up and seize, tried a O-Ring that had square edges used the silicone grease and after 2 days it leaked, I e-mailed Reef Maiden and she did not reply.
My question is has anyone made one of these valves that work?

What did you use for a seal??
