i have a distinctive dark red algae thats looks like red fuzz growing on certain parts of my LR, as well as a few zoo polyps.. This has cause the polyps with it growing on to close up. Its definately not red slime because it isn't easily removed with a toothbrush.. In fact, I would have to literally scrap it off the LR with a sharp edge, causing me to believe its some sort of corraline algae even though its spreading over other areas of purple corraline algae. Does anyone have any experience with this form of algae, and can recommend what might be done to remove it from the zoo polyps..
