Snow sucks. sorry, but I hate it beyond belief. It ends up as a black mess on the side of the road and rust on your car from the salt they put down, and that's if you are lucky enough to not wreck your car into a tree sliding on the ice. We are supposed to have a snow storm on the way as I type, and I bet fifty morons are in the ditch tommorrow.......it happens every year on the first snow day.

errrrrrrrrrr. Just went to the store, and the snow is starting here as well. Not even an inch yet, but here we go again. I would prefer palm trees and bikinis.:)

Snowing decent here in PA now too...I used to love this stuff, but I gotta admit, it's really starting to get on my nerves. You guys/gals down in Maryland should have kept this all for yourselves!

Just got back from store myself. Finished shopping in record time. Hardly no other people. That was good. Noticed roads were getting worse on the way home. Saw a couple of cars off the road. Right now, waiting for my boyfriend to get on-line with msn messenger. He left for work at 7 and is not there yet. Driving in the snow scares me now because I have a PU truck. No 4X4. Need to put some weight in the back. On another note, I live somewhat in the country and god is it beautiful to look at. I can see the deer out in the back yard grazing. Really Cool!!

The west coast of PA checking in - we have about an inch+ right now. The local weather folk have no clue what we should expect. I've heard anywhere from 4-12 inches for where I live.

Seems we have those drivers who take it to one extreme or another. They drive either way too slow or way too fast. A truck driver told me of an old saying for driving in the snow - "If you see spray, you're OK". That has always worked for me.

No snow in Alabama today, just COLD drizzle :( The forecasters are saying we MIGHT see a flurry tonight. 'Round here, two flakes falling 20 minutes apart is a flurry

Our first snow storm was back in October some time. :(
A couple years ago, we actually had snow in JUNE.

Snow??? Where??

Oh that's right. I'm in the desert. It's 72 today. I have my windows open. Ahhhhh!

Of course, I have to live with the 110 summers to make up for it.

No snow here yet, if any will come at all this winter. Global warming and living on a coast doesn't help.

I'm just glad I live in South Texas now.:D Hope that I never see that stuff again. I lived in Dallas where it rarely snows, just bad ice storms. I hate the stuff.

Send some this way please! We are used to getting slammed with lake effect storms that can dump large amounts on our area. We've been missed twice in the last week while areas 15 miles to the south got 6-8 inches. Sometimes the storms blow right over the lake shore area and hit inland. I love winter; skiing, skating, sledding, particularly at Christmas. Nothing quite like the look of outdoor holiday lights against a blanket of fresh snow.
Plus I want to try out the 4WD on my new Durango! BWAHAHA!!

Ahhh snow, the curse of the north. Glad we don't have it here because the only sledding hills are interstate overpasses.

East of Pittsburgh, we have, last time I looked, about 7 inches. Uggghhhhhh, hours of shoveling. But a great workout.

We have 6-8" of this beautiful white blanket. I would take snow over any other weather anytime. But what I appreciate the most is having the best of all four seasons in balance. Having to live with a warm, sunny Christmas season must truly suck.

Woke up this morning to about 15"...we're expecting to get about 18"-24". Gotta Love New England. I hope this means the ski resorts will be open soon. :D
