We would have to add a few more people to be considered micro-sized. Or at least a Domino's Pizza!!!

Spent many, many a nite in the Quincy area way back when. That's where all the nite life was........

My guess is that Kittanning is only slightly larger than Camp Point. We claim a population of 1200, but that's if everyones home and has company. :D

Chances are quite good that you would know my cousins in Kittanning... They live on the hill immediately SE of the bridge before crossing N into town. Mike, Marie, Bethany & Ben -- The 2 kids are now grown.

Oh, and Quincy has no nightlife, unless you want to get stabbed at the Starlight. We did however just get an Arbys.

My wife is from Ontario... she went to school in London, and grew up in Kitchener.

We're now living in Augusta, Maine. I'm currently involved in the greencard process. For the last 3 years, I've been buying reef stuff for CHEAP here in the US.... Man Frags are cheap here!!! and plentiful too!

Just rubbing it in to my fellow Canucks. I had to go where the work was. I tried to move home last summer, but every firm I went to offered me exactly HALF of what we make here. That's not even after exchange. It makes it pretty hard to go back.

Its only about 110 feet from the bridge to the water, in the summer anyway. about 200 feet in the winter.

You must be thinking of the New River Gorge Bridge, and yes, it is the 2nd highest bridge in the nation. It is also the longest single arch span brige in the world. One day a year they close down one side of it (its 4 lanes) and have 'bridge day' For about $100 you can buy a license and legally BASE jump off of it. Its almost 900 feet to the river below, which is only about 4 feet deep at that point.

Coral Dilema
01/30/2004, 02:58 PM
Another pic of the bridge, it is a little over 3000 feet long and almost 900 feet deep. It takes about 45 seconds to cross it, compared to the 1 1/2 hours it used to take before the bridge was built.
