View Full Version : Feeding Reef Fish

I have several FW tanks which I feed the fish slices of oranges/cucumber/squash once a week. Do you think this would be okay to do in a reef tank?

I have a GS Clown, 6 Line, Royal Gramma, and a Black Cap, plus several other corals, inverts, etc.

I feed frozen oranges to my larger fish. {Freezing the fruit breaks down it's cellular structure.} See this thread:

I also feed frozen peas and broccoli. None of my corals or anemones directly ingest these foods.
I never heard of feeding marine fish 'cukes or squash.
