Looking to set up a new 120gal 4X2X2 reef tank and have found a great deal though IAP, for the tank. Does anyone know of a good custom tank stand builder? I thought I saw an offer to build stands and hoods on the RC forums somewhere but can't seem to find it. Thanks for the information ahead of time. petedoc

thanks vnzln 1 but a little closer to the Northwest may be better, but you never know, some times shipping costs don't vary that much.

Actually the tank builder is innovative aquarium products in Bremerton Washington. It is an acrylic tank with center overflow and black back, the finished price is 350$. I believe this is a pretty good deal.

Maybe I should specify the Northwest, including Montana, Idaho and Wyoming and the usual WA and OR.

Marine Systems in Menlo Park, CA built my stand. They build custom cabinet-grade stands...really quality work. They're expensive, but their work is pretty top-quality. I know California is pretty far, but they may be able to ship it to ya if you're interested. Here are some pics of my stand:

Check out these guys:

Dayton Cabinet Company (http://members.ebay.com/aboutme/cabinetsdoorman)

I purchased a GORGEOUS 75g oak stand from them, free shipping, I assembled it and finished it. Everyone that sees it likes it.

ISOM, that is a great looking stand and canopy, how do I get in touch with them? Guitarfish, I like the look and price of the cabinets from Dayton Cabinet, but I contacted them by email and they won't build one wide enough for a 120gal 2X2X4' tank. Apparently shipping is a problem for items of that width.

Thanks petedoc,

check out their website here:
Marine Systems (http://www56.pair.com/marsys/index.html)

I can't remember her name for the life of me, but a woman owns and runs the company. She's really friendly, totally helpful. She sat down with me and listened while I laid out exactly what i wanted. She delivered about a week later. I'm not sure how busy they are now, but give them a call!
