I have heard only 1 fish to a nano around 10-12 gallons. I wuld do a clown because they are hardy and can live in a small enviroment. Im not real sure what the fishes ou have are but i know 3 fish is kind of ushing it and most fish wil outgrow your tak very soon. I dont know if that helps ut i tried.

I have two clowns in my 10g and its at its limits. I would not put another fish in mine, let alone two more. Are you testing water quality? What are your levels?

Two sounds fine in a 10g, altho I'm sure people have pushed more in there w/ no problems, just higher maintenance.

OK, let be two.
As to water, it seems to be fine: ph 8.1, Kh 10,
NO3 <10, NO2 <1

I have 2 black ocellaris, a tiny yellow watchman goby, a fire shrimp and a tank full of corals. I have nassarius snails and hermits to do the housekeeping:) I have never seen the nitrates elevated, but I do water changes every 3 weeks.

Nitrite (NO2) should be zero in any tank. The level of nitrates (NO3) is debatable. It isn't really toxic, but it excellerates algae growth (similar to phosphate).

Anchorite,
[welcome]
I would not put more than two clowns in a ten gallon.

I like to keep mine at zero but I hear under 20 is OK.
