You are not going to believe this. I was doing a water change in my quarantine tank and forgot to turn the heater off before i did it. so when i put the new water back into the tank it cracked the heater into 2 pieces. so i reach down trying to get the other piece in the tank and low and behold my arm overflows the tank and leaks onto my brand spankin new 27" flatscreen $350 TV. Boy was my wife not happy about that one. LOL Good thing I have a warantee i guess . LOL

Look on the bright side. At least it wasn't a 42 or more inch flat screen plasma.

Is a fish tank flood covered?

I'm not sure how you'd explain that one....

I can only imagine the kind of grief a move like that would cause.

Consider yourself fortunate that you didn't fry yourself as well....

And on an even brighter side. At least you did not get electrocuted! :spin2:

Take it back and say it doesn't work. I'm not suggesting fraud. Some stores will be happy to replace the TV if it means winning a customer.

yes i got it from COSTCO and mailed in the warranty the day after I bought it. don't think it should be a problem there, they have great customer service.

Just tell your wife that you still have a TV it's 48" wide and it has lots of beautiful colors, movement, and fish ;)

Sorry it happened, glad you're okay, and IMO I'd rather have the aquarium than the TV ;)

Goodluck with the warranty!
