Are these just for freshwater ? does anyone use one for saltwater ? I sense the glass has a green tint. Does it make a difference ?

I dont think theres a problem using one of those tanks for marine purposes. If theres a tint of green, its up to you, your tastes. Just try to find out what is the tint made out of, but I still dont think you have anything to worry about.
