Need honest opinions on AquaC EV-120

I will be ordering it tomorrow unless someone can talk me out of it.
OOOOOOOO..... I don't have room for an in-sump model so I am having to go with a HOB format which AquaC is willing to do. EuroReef doesnt have a way to make there's into a HOB format, sorry euroreef supporters. And my wife refuses to allow me to place it on a stand next to the tank. My stand isnt my only restriction:D

actually YOU COULD make a ER into a HOT style. you would have to DIY it which wouldn't be hard

I think the Ev-120 is an excellent skimmer. Better than my EV-150 and I love mine. I would go for it!

the Aqua-C line of skimmers are great. i dont think you can go wrong with your choice given your setup and restrictions.

They are great skimmers. Why not just get a remora with the maxi jet. Its a HOB skimmer and the best at it IMO. Might even be slimmer than anything that they might be customizing for you, cheaper also.

CASINO..I actually have a remora pro with mag3 but i broke a baffle while cleaning it, i'd say a 25% loss in performance. Surprising the EV-120 is only 8.5"x4.75"

if you kept the baffel you can repair it with weld-on #3.
