Should I QT Clowns?

I'm going to buy a mated pair of maroon clowns. Do I need to quarrentine them? Someone told me that since they are basically damsels not to worry about it much. Suggestions?

Just to be safe, you should always QT new fish. Clowns are also notorious for carrying Brooklynella, which can wipe out an entire tanks population.

Best bet is to always QT new fish for a few weeks and treat the QT as if they had "X" just as a preventative measure. Some people treat w/ malachite green or formalin regardless of wether symptoms of a disease are present or not.
