Is Instant Ocean good or should I use something better like Tropic Marin salt for liverock, polyps, mushrooms and softies?

IO is raved around RC. I use it and havent had a problem. I also used Red Sea w/out problem too. Do a search you find tons of info on this

IO is good stuff - been using it for years with no problems at all.

IO is a great product. Just remember to try and mix your water a good 24 hours before using it.

I have used instant ocean from start to present and nothing else. I really can't speak about the other's but I do my water for water changes an hour before hand. The IO box I believe say's you can use it almost instantly because it desolves that quick.

Most will frown on this using my water that quick, but the damn cats would make the water worse if I had it lying around.

Might as well jump on the bandwagon and use it to, especially if your a cheapskate.
