MV ballast

Will a HD 175 watt MV ballast fire this bulb?

Some say they'll only fire iwasakis and others say they'll fire XM bulbs.

Can anyone clear this up for me?

Unless the HD MV setup has a combo MV/MH ballast in it, it will not work.
