Can any of you guys help me with an ID? This was posted on a Scuba website that I visit. It says that it was seen at Casino point on the pacific coast. I'm assuming CA, but I'm not positive. Anyway, here's a link to the pic moray (http://www.underwaterplanet.com/10112003%20(194)EEL.jpg)

Thanks all,

Looking through Michael's Reef Fishes book it looks like a Barred Snake Moray or Uropterygius fasciolatus. It says it's very secretive, but would do well in the home aquarium. Maximum length is less than 2 ft. And likes waters from 72-82 degrees.

Thanks guys,
The people on the scuba forum are calling it a horned moray, but there wasn't any more info than that.

thanks again,

I'm not sure what it is, but I guarantee you, that it's bigger than any 2 feet long. Looks like a pretty big monster
