Split or spawn?

One of my rics has 5 mouthes and is showing no sign of splitting, it has been this way for 3 monthes at least, how long does splitting take? Also, I have had 4 baby shrooms pop up out of know where so do shrooms spawn or split?

unlike true anenomes, u can split ricordias anytime. just split it yourself. i always do. suckers are very hearty. that's whats so great about ricordias.
