I went on vacation a few months ago, and when I came back my tank was covered with algea. When I tried to treat it, my tank crashed, killing three fish. Somehow my leather coral(only coral) and my coral banded shrimp survived. I gave up opn it for a while, but now Id like to get back into it. im still dealing with algea, someone told me to get some sort of blenny to clean things up? Where should I start over? Thanks

Slowly I'd say. Pull the algae, do some water changes, get everything in perspective. I had a tank overheat a year ago and about wiped out my tank. Fish lived and corals and inverts all died. Just don't be in a rush. What kind of algae is it?

I still pull some Bryopsis, but I'm finally winning. Good luck!
