Interesting tidbtis..

Some people just scare me. There's a guy I work with who used to keep saltwater tanks several years ago and he insists on giving me adive but what he told me today was just scary. I mentioned that I'm setting my tank up an he asked me if I had added the salt yet. I said no, I've got a refractometer on the way so I'm just going to wait till that gets here. He then asks, "Why?" I got really worried and began to wonder about how well his tanks were kept up and what they looked like. On a nicer note, working in and around a lab has it's perks. I found a handheld Ph meter today and the lab supervisor said you can have it if you need it. He helped me calibrate it so that's a little bit less money I have to spend.
