Damn Ich Magnets!

My yellow tang began to show signs of black spot (or black ich) about a week ago and it was pretty much gone in a couple days. It came back a bit again a couple days ago. I constantly see my cleaner shrimp going for a ride on him.

My water conditions are all right where they should be. The only thing I can figure that has been stressing the tang, is the slight salinity change I did a couple days ago thanks to compensating for a week of evapouration.

If anyone can help me out, that'd be great! :confused:

the "black ick" is usaly not faital like the white ick my yellow tank when i hade one hade it for about a month it would go then come back it eventualy did go away

Since black ich can sometimes reach major infestations it is best treated IMO. Usually a series of fresh water dips will do the trick. Use the RC search function (button on top right of this page) and you'll come up with some prior discussions on treatment of black ick
