Leather spawning!

Here is a pic of my leather spawning last night. There were thousands of eggs i guess..

Also I imagined the eggs would be released with a lot mucus/slime but the picture looks like the spawning was very “clean�. Is this correct?

The coral did not slime at all. I just emitted thousands of eggs. I noticed it and then it took about two hours to finish. The other life in the tank loved it. Does anyone know if leathers are hermaphroditic? Maybe we will get some babies!!

Neat!I saw a cloud of the same thing swirling around in my tank one night when I peeped in with a flaslight.I had no idea that it would have been a coral spawing!

Fantastic! What size is the leather? Did anything else spawn?

Th leather is about 7" tall and 6" in dia. I did not see anthing else spawn last night. My montipora spawned about 3 weeks ago but I did'nt get a pic. Wife had digital camera...
