How long do Skunk Cleaner Shrimp live?

Ok, let's try it this way, what's the longest you've kept a cleaner shrimp alive? Over a year?

I have had one for 3 yrs in November.

I've had mine only one year and he's dead already. Of course I don't know how old it was when I got it.

When I found it, all that was left was the tail...so I fed it to my BTA.

I'm sure it wasn't a molt...

2 1/2 years and still growing

I got mine 4 years ago. He was an imature shrimp, only about 3/4 inches long not conting the antenae. He ia full size now and appear very healthy without problem. A friend of mine have one for aobut 6 years when he finally died probably of old age.

Will a cleaner shrimp or a blood shrimp mess wi th a pistol shrimp?

After my tank crashed, I took a 1/2 dead cleaner shrimp and a 1/2 dead pistol shrimp and put them in my 10 tank. They are doing very well together without problem. Both recovered.
