I was wondering about feeding squamipinnis anthias that will not take frozen brine or phyto. Does anyone have any ideas on what I should try?
Thanks

They dont take artemia? Do they east it but spit it out, or are they not at all interessted in any food coming by?

They eat and spit it out.

At least they are still interessted in food. Might tale a while until they take Artemia. Be aware that these fish dont stand longer starving periods. As soon as they start hidding to conserve energy they consume more energy than they can get out of the food.

Try to get them with as much diffrent froozen food as you can get: Lobster eggs, Bosmiden (hope they are known in the US) Daphnia, Cyclops

Try Mysis shrimp - When I had anthias in my old tank they LOVED mysis.

Make sure you put it in the current so it looks like it's swimming.

You should also try cyclop-eeze as Peter suggested. It's a GREAT zooplankton substitute! I think they will go nuts for the stuff.

Try live blood worms (also called black worms?) they seem to like them when they watch them moving, and they are a great source of protein.

these fish are a little bigger than your average anthias and they need a little bigger food such as mysids and squid, eventually they will start to feed on spirulina flake food and other foods as well, mine now take just about anything, but when i first got them they would only eat misyds.

They are now happily feeding on the frozen mysis shrimp. They eat it with the problem. Ank by the way what are cyclop-eeze.
Thanks

They are frozen daphnia and zooplankton is mostly for filter feeders and small fish.
