I have a Micrologix 1000 PLC for sale or trade. I'm looking for stuff like PH controllers, Reeftec/Streams, an overflow box, etc, pretty open to trade offers.

Programable Logic Controller. We use them for our elevators and Draw bridges. It is not intended for use in the Reef world. What is the model# and is it used ?

what do you mean they cant be used for the reef tank...in effect the Aquacontroller is a PLC a Smart PLC..but yes i used a smart plc to control my greenhouse.. and im thinking about replacing my aquacontroller with a smart PLC cause they are so more versatile..just a little harder to setup the hardware..but once figured out they work great!!

I meant the one he is offering and I did say not intended not can't. If you know what you are doing you can make these things run your entire house but I don't think many people on RC would want to bother.

I have a Siemens PLC controlling every aspect of my tank. They are perfect for this hobby. If he is offering the cable form the PC to the unit and the software to control it it is a great toy to play with. Needless bump.

I'm not sure of the model, it has 8 inputs and 6 outputs. I'll have to look when I get home. This thing would be great for a wavemaker; it would be much more configurable than a RedSea Wavemaster type. It could also be used as an auto top-off device, or both at the same time. That and they are quite a bit cheaper than a Wavemaster pro.

The Micrologix PLC is made by Allen Bradley (I think). The software (RSLogix) is very expensive. It has to be programmed using ladder logic. That being said, how much do you want for it.
