No, It's not trying to be like JL's subwoofers.

This subwoofer Is top of teh line. I gurantee you that. It has the same sound quality specs as the w7, and can handle as much if not more than a 12w7.

It's basically as good as a w7 for almost 1/2 the price.

One of these days I will take photo's of my trunk. I have two 10" with a 400w Amp in between. I am afraid to have the base above 9. Just have to get a set of kickers next.
