Hi,
Looking to get some prices...I currently have a 10g nano which is being lit by a 28 watt PC coralife aqualight on those mounting legs.
I am noticing that my eggcrate cover is blocking a lot of what little light I have. I only am interested in softies (mushrooms, Ricordia, toadstool etc...) but I am not sure how much light it's getting.
I don't really want to spend $90 on the 96 watt aqualight, since I just spent $50 on the one I have....
I would love a custom hood, but I have ZERO electrical and/or woodworking skills. Nor do I have a lot of money right now.
But thought I'd give it a shot, in case anyone had an old nano laying around with a nice hood. It's the standard size 10g and I am looking for anything from 32-96 watts of PC lighting. If there was a fan built in, that would be sweet too, but not necessary.
If no one has anything, maybe someone could let me know how much I can expect to pay for a custom hood? so I an start saving....
Thanks!
