My dad came up with this suggestion the other day when we were talking about what to do if isabel comes this way. Here is the idea. I was thinking that i would go and get a couple of car batteries and an inverter but my dad said that would still only run it for less than a day before the batteries were dead. so we though about doing this having 2 car batteries. 1 powering the pumps through the inverter while the other battery would be outside attached to a pair of jumper cables charging of the running car. anyone see any problems with this?
