My leather was doing fine with tons of mushrooms around it until last week it just layed down and did not open for about 4 days? It has since shed some mucus and is coming back around but I am wondering if the mushrooms touching it will are having a negative effect on it. Thanks.

I have purple/maroon mushrooms touching the trunk of my leather, and it doesn't affect it at all. What does affect it is when the shrooms touch the crown or polyp section of the leather. When this happens, a coral war begins and the leather usually loses. HTH.

Ah yes, that is what has been happening as there are mushrooms high around it and touching the crown sometimes. Guess I better move it. Thanks
