Building canopy kooling fans using computer fans

Anyone out there have any success building a canopy cooling fan by using computer fans? Any instructions on how to build it successly? Any build plans? :D thx fellow Aquarists...

Many people use computer fans (80mm & 120mm) on their DIY lighting canopies. They aren’t very hard to make.

I was thinking going with a 80mm and getting a tranformer that produce the correct output and just solder or hook the ends together with maybe a 2 or 3 pin connector. will this work?
