What do you think is the best purchases you have made over the last year as far as equipment goes

1. RO Unit with out a doubt money well spent.
2. stupid digital temp indicator, bought this about a week ago and wish I had it from the beginning it makes it so much easier to monitor temperature.
3. just got my new refractometer and yep you guessed it my salinity is off 1.028, which is not bad and I am pretty confident that it has always been the same, but I have always went for 1.025. I have some work ahead of me.

Next purchase will be a light meter.

It wasn't in the last year, but I think the best piece of equipment I've ever bought for the reef hobby was a Remora Pro skimmer.

Not in the last year, no real purchases for my tanks in the last year, but my best ever purchase:

What do fish, inverts and corals live in? Of course water. So the best purchase I ever made was an RO/DI to give my tanks the best water I could.

Cheers,
Dave Johnson

Easy target feeding, and to blow sand or detrius off LR.

$5 rubbermaid tub to make a refugium out of. Nitrates dissappear, corals, mandarin and fish in general are happy happy....

That would be the best as a cost to benifit ratio.

Best purchase overall I think would be the MH lighting. The added growth, color and the shimmer.....

Reefanatic auto-top off. Men so much easier for me now. I used to go to the basement to get RO/DI water every single day. Now i just refill my 25 gal plastic container for auto-top off once a week.
