Anyone have any experience with these fish. What would be a better choice for a 37 gal tank?

There's no such thing as a 12 line, that I know of. I think you mean a 8 line?

Anyways, a 6 line is a excellent reef fish.. I don't know what you wish to know about these fish, but they're excellent fish.

LFS says they have a 12 line wrasse. I never heard of one either. They said its from Hawii. I'm going to have to check it out.

6 line would be good, but make sure you have plenty of live rock and stable tank. They like to eat pods and bristle worms, at least mine does.

12 line = 4 line, at least it does at my LFS, according to the distributor. Without a picture and/or scientific name a common name means nothing in most cases.

For instance I kept having various LFS' try to get in a "Sailfin Blenny," and have been disappointed many times. What most distributors call a "sailfin blenny" is just a lawnmower blenny with a tall fin. I am currently in the process of ordering it by sci-name and a photo I take with me on fish-shopping-days. ;)

Yup, checked it out, twelveline = fourline. Score a sixline for $16.99. Seems pretty happy in his new home.
