Haitian anenome

Have recently seen a Haitian anenome that hides under the pvc scaffolding supporting live rock. It simply won't come out into the light and is in complete shade and hidden behind rocks. I like that type of anenome but I'd not like it if it hid like this one I've described. Is that typical? It seems bizarre that they'd hide behind and under rocks when I've always associated good light as a critical requirement for anenomes.

Any thoughts...is that typical behavior??
