caluerpa gone sexual

I awoke this morning to find my tank real cloudy. When calerpa goes sexual does it have a green tinge to the water? This is muddy looking. I'll post later with peramiters if it doesn't clear up but that was the first thing that came to mind. The fish and coral don't seem to mind. This is bizzare, any suggestions...thank you

It will clear, but you will want to get rid of (pull out) the caluerpa that has died off (turned white).

Yea, mine looked like pea soup. I removed the calerpa and used a hang on filter with carbon & pads to clean it, plus my skimmer of course, which was not in the sump at the time.
