DT's Phyto.....Snake oil or real?

Good evening all:

I know this has been out here before but I am to lazy to go search for it. Plus this DT stuff is now sold in concentrate in the cooler. I bought a 20 oz. bottle of the concentrate today because based on my text book water parameters and lighting, I should be getting a little more noticeable growth from my sps's. My softies and shroons are doing excellent so I figure I am having a small mal nutrition problem. I currently have a refugium (only 10 gal) and feed roti rich 30 drops 2x week (possibly more snake oil). So I was wondering if I start with say 10 ml 2x week of DT's and turn the UV off over night if it will have any effect. They say it wont cause algae blooms and my LFS which is usually VERY honest, loves the stuff. Any comments?
What is everyone with good SPS growth feeding your tanks?
