Ok, I have two unidentified growths in the tank on the live rock, and I was wondering if any of you could identify them for me.

The first one kind of looks like a shroom, and has spread. There are now six smaller versions on a few of the rocks and one large one that was the first one to appear. It appears to be blue-green to brown, and although I do not notice a center point, there appears to be a central location that all the sides "root" at. Heres a few photos:

Large, original version.

New version on another piece of rock. Look in the center of this picture.

This algea is also blue-green, almost metallic though. It seems to grow only in between some sargassum right now, and the general shape is like the end of a bone shaped dog cookie.

Any thoughts or ideas would be appreciated, I do apologize for the quality of the pics, but my camera has problems zooming in that far.

Trust me, those shots were hard to get considering my digital camera is only an Olympus D360L. An ok camera for everyday use, but when it comes to zooming, macros and closups, its a tough call. Believe it or not, those four pics came from about 60 that I took, the other 56 were either blurry, too far away, or you couldnt see what I was talking about. If I had a coolpix 950 it would be different, but for now, it will do.

So C'mon peoples! Help us identify these wierd growths!!!!
