i am starting to plan a 40 or 46 gallon reef . i plan to use the 20" 96w coralife pc that i currently use in my 10 gal nano . i will add to that 2 mini pendants 250w hqi in 6500k. would that provide adequate lighting for all sps and even maxima clams or do i need to go to 400 w mh.
the depth of the aqurium will be pretty shallow . i think the 40 gal are 20" minus 4-6" of dsb.
also, i plan to place the mh's at opposite ends and the pc in the middle.
