I have had 2 gobies for a year now. I noticed that they have been very protective of their "space" for the past few days. When I inspected further I saw larvae. A whole "sack" of eggs. Upon doing some research it says to seperate the larvae and "parents" into a 10 gallon and to feed the larvae with rotifers. Does anyone have any suggestions or past experiences they could share? I don't want the baby gobies to be eaten when they hatch.

Thanks in advance for any help.

The nest can be removed just prior to hatching and placed in a seperate tank for hatching/rearing. Place an airstone next to the nest to "Gently!" agitate the eggs.

You may want to try and find an old TFH book by Pat Colin on the "Neon Gobies" (my copy is from 1975).

Rotifers are needed as the first feed, them artemia naups as they get bigger.
