EV-180 Skimmate Quantity?

I've had my new AquaC EV-180 w/ Mag 7 running on my 65 gal reef tank for going on 4 weeks, and it doesn't seem to be skimming very much. If I added up all that it has skimmed it would only amount to about 1/2 a cup. I bought the skimmer because I have a bad algae problem, so I expected that it would be skimming like crazy by now. How much skimmate should be accumulating? My Remora Pro seemed to skim more than my new EV-180 does. I know that AquaC says that it takes time for the skimmer to break-in, but I am starting to get concerned.

I had like a 6week breakin. Additionally it all depends on how you have the gate valve turned.

My used EV150 took about 3-4 weeks to really start going. Maybe give it some more time. I get about a cup every three days and it is dark green and evil looking/smelling :D
