Calcium Reactor Problems

I purchased a Korallin 1502 Kalk reactor and I am having a heck of a time getting my Ca and Alk to stay where I want it. It keeps dropping both levels no matter how I adjust the drip and CO2 bubbles.

Any helpful hints?

Do you have a needle valve to adjust the CO2? If not you should get one or you will pulling your hair out trying to adjust it.

Also, what are you using to control the drip rate?

The important thing with reactors is to let it run for some time after each adjustment. I usually let it run overnight after any adjustments or set it in the morning and then check it when I get home from work.

PS What is your drip rate and CO2 bubbles per minute?
