anchor coral

I got an anchor coral that I'm not sure if it's going to make it or not. It had a rough couple of days being shipped. It's color looks OK but how far above the skeleton should the polyps extend? These are extending about an 1/8 of an inch above the skeleton and are not spreading outward. Does anyone have a pic of an anchor from the side or could you just explain what it is supposed to do? Thanks for any help.

It's only been in the tank since yesterday afternoon.

Give it another day or two and it should come out how it's supposed too.
