upgrade skimmers and more Q's

okay I just bought this skimmer. I had done research and was told it was good but now after talking to ppl on this forum. I find out that I will need to put the mag 9.5 on it to make it a decent skimmer.
Does anyone know where I can get the adapter for it? Also I will have a mag 9.5 returning to my tank can I just hook that up to the skimmer and use the skimmer as a return line or should I just buy another one? I can get them for $60 a piece so I'm not all that worried about it.

Also I have a 100 gallon tank that is 21" deep. I already have 80 watts of Actinic blue(NO) and 160 watts of 4500k(HO). Well I'm going to install a dual 250w mh 6500k bulbs. Will this be enough little to handle most corals,even sps? I am hoping to get a single 400w 10,000k mh. I was going to put the most light sensitive corals underneath that. Will I need that 400w?
This will add up to 1140w w/ the 400w mh. 740w w/o the 400w.

If your tank is 21" deep, and then you add a few inches of substrate, you will be around 18". 250W halides are plenty for clams and SPS corals, even on the bottom. I have dual 250W 10K bulbs on my 90 Gallon with no problem. You might want the 400W bulb, but you certainly don't need it.:D

I have the same skimmer and added a mag 9.5 and a kent venturi 3/4. eventually i went back to the origional setup. It seemed to work better.

Lights ?? I wish mine were bigger.

Okay then I will just do with the 2 250w MH, need to save some money on the eletrical bill(Girlfriend is complaining).
So the normal set up will work just fine or I should upgrade?

I had read about several configurations and tried them all. But i ended up back where i started.

Actually it was a venturi only when i got it, but i had upgraded to the turbo pump. That was an improvement over the very first setup.

Thanx I will just keep the turbo pump and put the money into other things(LIGHTING).
