okay I just bought this skimmer. I had done research and was told it was good but now after talking to ppl on this forum. I find out that I will need to put the mag 9.5 on it to make it a decent skimmer.
Does anyone know where I can get the adapter for it? Also I will have a mag 9.5 returning to my tank can I just hook that up to the skimmer and use the skimmer as a return line or should I just buy another one? I can get them for $60 a piece so I'm not all that worried about it.
Also I have a 100 gallon tank that is 21" deep. I already have 80 watts of Actinic blue(NO) and 160 watts of 4500k(HO). Well I'm going to install a dual 250w mh 6500k bulbs. Will this be enough little to handle most corals, even sps? I am hoping to get a single 400w 10,000k mh. I was going to put the most light sensitive corals underneath that. Will I need that 400w?
This will add up to 1140w w/ the 400w mh. 740w w/o the 400w.
Thanx
