Atlantic Blue Tang

I am really interested in the Atlantic blue tang. But I can only find them in the juvenille stage. Yellow with blue outline. I am wondering how long before it turns its adult completely blue colour and is there any problems concerning having one in an aquarium and it never turning this something like angels. Thanks for you help.

This fish grows quickly to the size of a pie plate.
Do not consider this tang unless you have a large tank. Minimum six feet long.
